Hey Guys n Gals!

After the interest and support u guys have shown I have signed a team The NailTips Team

Below are all the details and the link for people to access our page and join our team or make donations.

Anyone wanting to join the team to shave or colour please click the link and click "Join this Team"

The details:
Team Capatain: Me - Rebecca Newman
Date: 11th - 13th March
Time: Nominated team time or individually
Place: Nominated team spot or individually (For SA I am looking at a venue or the link to meet up and do it together ??)
Other states can do this also, if so please just PM ur nominated "Captain" for ur state so I can keep them updated
Donations: Preferrably directly on the website or monies can be deposited with the kit being sent out when u join the team
Our Goal: $5000 (this can be changed if we don't think we can aim that high, but hey life is about aiming high!)
Our Team: ANYONE!! Any family, friends, clients can click our link and join our team and start helping us to reach our goal.
Pictures: Those of you who are willing to post pics should be able to do so, if it doesn't allow u email ur pic with ur username/first name and what state ur from to saharalily@gmail.com. My before shot is up! haha

- Every hour of every day, at least one person in Australia is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma.
- Every two hours, someone loses their life to blood cancer.

Please help us raise as much as we can towards our $5000 goal for the Leukaemia Foundation. Their vital work provides patients with practical support during their long and tough treatment, as well as funding important research.

What a wonderful cause... I'm joining for sure.

( It is sad that considering the amount of $$$$$$$$ over the years that has been raised, why has a cure not been found ?? Surely, they would have come up with something by now...???? I mean "they sent men to the bloody moon" and " what ever else they have done that would of cost MILLIONS"

I do believe we have all had someone / or / know someone who have been effected by this, or maybe one of you girls have had to fight this diease, I hope a cure is found, and fast.

I support all types of cancer, being a survivor myself (you would of noticed through out the month of Oct on my profile)
They have raised a heap of money to try and find a cure, unfortunately in order to master the cure they need to pinpoint the problem, this is where all our money from donations are going at the moment, research

Also my friend's boy who is 12yrs old has been battling leukeamia since he was 2 yrs old. He is currently in remission.

Thanks to the ones who are willing to colour and shave and even just making a donation and showing ur support.

I am making a pledge - our target is $5000.00 - IF we hit that by March 11th - I WILL SHAVE MY HEAD!!

ok, so call me silly and all, lol, so it doesn't matter where the money comes from? for instance, I'm planning on using a % of what I make doing nails during this time, and also recycling bottles, etc, I know it's only 10c a bottle, but it all adds up hey! so is that cool? Also, when does the dyeing hair come in to play? and how does that help? do we meet up somewhere? pay to get our hair dyed by someone? lol, never been involved in this sorta thing so would appreciate your input thanksu!

WOOHOO - we have just had our first sponsor girls!!! And I got a few friends to join our team

Kerina, for us SA girls, I am hoping if enough is interested I will organise a place central for us to meet or we can all meet at one of the massive venues already organised by the councils of SA.

Greatest shave update: one of our team members is getting married - if we get really close to the $5000 team target SHE WILL MARRY BALD!!!!! She will even let me video tape the shaving and post it on facebook, so give us a giggle and get raising!!

I think we all were supposed to get info packs.
I did get what I thought was the info pack but it wasn't, it was from another thing I am gdoing so I will have to email them about my info pack.
