The theme of the competition is 'Valentines Day' and 'love'.
Prizes
As prizes Bob & Iryna Giblett are donating gel and/or acrylic nail products from Iryna Giblett Inc. (http://www.irynagiblett.com). In addition, everyone who enters will receive a FREE copy of the ImagiNAILtion nail art magazine with DVD:
* 1st prize - products to the value of $500
* 2nd prize - products to the value of $250
* 3rd prize - products to the value of $100
How To Enter
The cost of entry is FREE.
Send your photo's to iryna@irynagiblett.com and please include your name, post address, phone and email so that we can contact you if necessary and send the free magazine.
When we receive your entry, we will confirm receipt by email.
Judging
The judges will examine the photograph with marks being awarded on the basis of visual impact, technique, overall creativity and composition. The judges include:
* Iryna Giblett, President of Iryna Giblett Inc, editor of ImagiNAILtion magazine and international competition judge
* Irina Zamostinchuk, Global Educator for Iryna Giblett Inc, winner of nail art competitions in Russia and 2nd place Master of Masters, St. Petersberg 2009
Closing Date
All material received must be received by February 10th. The final decision will be announced on February 14th.
Rules & Regulations
1. Open to all professional nail technicians and student nail technicians
2. Up to two entries are allowed per person
3. The nail art design must be all your own work without help from anyone else. The nails must be attached to the hand(s) but you can use props, accessories and models to compliment the image as required. The nails can be any size or shape that compliments your overall design.
4. At least five nails should be clearly seen in the photograph.
5. The nail art design can be created using one or more nail art techniques such as gel design, flat or 3D acrylic, painting or a mixed media combination. Fantasy designs and embedding some form of decoration is permitted.
6. Photographs that have been previously published, or have been submitted to other competitions will not be accepted
7. All photographs to be supplied as digital images with a maximum size of 2400 by 3000 pixels. Can be either portrait or landscape format. The file format should be JPG.
8. Photographs containing company logo's, company names or other information that is deemed to be advertising company's or products will not be accepted.
9. We reserve the right to not award prizes if less than five people enter.
10. Photo's and your contact information should be emailed to iryna@irynagiblett.com and received on or before 10th February 2010
11. Prizes and magazines will be posted from Sweden before the end of February.
12. By submitting an entry you agree that the work is original and agree that Iryna Giblett Inc and it's subsidiaries will not be liable for lost entries or any other financial compensation either to you or your model other than declared under Prizes.
