Tess wrote:Very very useful KatHave you considered a new table to help reduce the effects of your asthma as well?

Velvetelle wrote:But having said all that, and yes, i agree it is very usefull information, wouldnt you have to file a lot of acrylic away in order to reduce the soaking time to 25 minutes or under???
I know when i soak off acrylic that it takes longer than 25 min if i dont file away a LOT of the acrylic first... And if there is gel on top then that would have to be removed, that of course is a finer dust... Otherwise you could be there a while!!!
So to me, in effect it defeats the purpose if you have to file acrylic first... Its the whole catch 22, file away, asthma plays up, soak for longer than 25 minutes each time and risk dermatitis...
Kat, can you wear a mask? Would that make a difference to you??

Mel Skora wrote:Hi Kat,
So if I am understanding this correctly u are soaking off clients nails every 3 weeks instead of infilling them?
How long does this take... I hate doing it.. I could not imagine doing it at every infill..
I am glad u posted this topic. I have a serial soaker ( as i call her)..; she loves her new fresh look set... and at times just turns up with no nails to an infill ( same time so i dont mind)... but i was worried about her skin,
thanks
